In 2019 I was diagnosed with Bi-lateral breast cancer, in my own words, you might as well go big or go home.
In the autumn of 2024 my cancer came back and has now spread to my spine, pelvic bone and lymphs in my neck.
I want to share my story as it appears, from my oncology team, me asking to stop taking hormone inhibitors, was very unusual. Before I go on to explain my story - I want all to know
If I had a choice of a pill that would let me live for another 20 years but the side effects would be debilitating, with crippling exhaustion, more weight gain and a very poor quality of life or
Option B:- Take nothing have a reasonable quality of life, be able to take my dogs out and enjoy walks but only live for say 2 years.
WELL I TAKE THE 2 YEARS EVERY TIME
