Bells Cottage is a lovely thatched cobb cottage sleeping four guests in the quiet rural hamlet of Newtown, close to the village of Awbridge.
The cottage itself dates back to the 19th century and it is believed to be one of the oldest dwellings in the village. Features include traditional hand made wood windows, master crafted thatched roof, Clearview log burning stove, brand new fully fitted kitchen. It has undergone a full renovation and is back to its former glory with a modern twist. Due to the nature of an old cottage we are constantly upgrading and refurbishing to keep it nice for our guests.
We have (2020) been inspected by VisitEngland and have been awarded a rating of four star GOLD Award as well as meeting the criteria for their "Welcome Pets!" scheme.
And now with Electric car charger.

A Doddle is a neat robust pod containing a 1m lead for smaller dogs and a 75 cm lead for larger dogs. It is called a “Doddle” because it makes walking your dog child’s play
Truly integrated veterinary care (Complementary and Alternative Medicine, or CAM*, alongside conventional veterinary treatments) broadens the boundaries of what is possible for our animals.
We value conventional medicine tremendously and see great benefits in using CAM appropriately alongside it. Using a variety of modalities can improve our animals’ welfare by tailoring treatment more closely to each individual’s needs. This can also reduce the need for more toxic options which, in turn, delivers broader environmental benefits as well.
CAM4animals is passionate about the benefits of this approach and we’re here to help people to find out more about it.
We are a 100% volunteer-run, consumer-driven organisation promoting CAM and integrated veterinary care in the UK. This website is a resource for animal owners, vets and practitioners alike.
